Baptism on Saturday!

This week was ok for us. It wasn't that busy. Everyone is getting ready for school and the election here. We have a baptism on Saturday!!! Brother Negad is ready so we will hold his on Saturday. We extended a baptismal day for Nixie. We will have her baptism on June 1. It is exciting to see these baptisms coming up. Brother Tabligan is starting to progress. He knows what we teach is true and it sounds like he wants to be baptized. He didn't make it to church but he really likes the Book of Mormon. We also met with Brother Baldos this week. He told us about the beliefs of Inglesia ni Cristo and we helped explain the commandments to him. He really likes our beliefs and he wants them to be true. He is still waiting for an answer. We taught the Padernal family again. Brother really likes our teachings and he wants to follow God. We are focusing on him because if he enters the church his wife will follow him. We got a new investigator this week. His name is Joshua. He is 10 years old. We contacted his grandmother who is a member. They live far away but they have attended church for 2 weeks now. They have great faith in the gospel. We also taught Avon Taperan. She really wants to know the truth. We are helping her see that the Bible testifies of the Book of Mormon. That is her main concern. We gave her an assignment and she will do it. She really wants it to be true. We think she knows it is true because we asked her about her prayer and she started to cry. She wants it to be true. She attended church this week. We hope to give her a baptismal date this week. Brother Nono is about the same. He knows what is right and he says he wants to change. We are trying to help him. He wants to come to church but sometimes he has work on Sunday.

We have transfers on Wednesday this week. I think I will but don't know for sure. We are thinking that Elder Bermudez will probably transfer. We don't know what will happen. We are excited to see.

I love you all. Remember with God all things are possible.

Elder Nielsen
