I am with Elder Nunez. He is from Manila. We were busy this
week. We taught Nixie this week. She is doing very well. She didn't make it to
church this week because her grandma died. We had to move her baptism to June
8. We are teaching two really good teenagers right now. Johnjohn and Mitch. We
have a hard time teaching them because the parents are never home but we think
they will be baptized on June 8 also. We are teaching Jay-r as well. He is
really progressing. He didn't make it to church either. We are hoping for the
15 for him. We are working with a lot more investigators right now. We are
going through the old records to see who else we can visit and we are trying to
find some more investigators right now. We are trying to help the Lord provide
weekly baptisms in Manapla. That is the vision of President Lopez. That is what
we are working on.
Elder Nunez is pretty good. We work well together. He really
likes to work so we do a lot of teachings.
This week was pretty relax. I don't remember anything really
exciting. I have learned that work is the secret to being happy and forgetting
your problems.
